你吃了没?

 Here is a look at the damage done to my poor Elliott. As you can see, I can still use many of the features, and this is something for which I am super thankful! The top left part, anything above that crack you can see {the yellow line that runs from the top right corner to the bottom/mid left} is paralyzed and so I cant scroll through or use any features that are in that section. Same goes for anything below the yellow crack line on the bottom left corner there. I have a piece of tape over the little shards that are still hanging on next to the camera.

One of the features that has only been made difficult to use, and not been rendered unusable, is my texting app. I love this one so much! I am thankful beyond words for it! Because part of the screen doesn't work, it means having to find interesting ways to use it though. Some of the keys on the keyboard are not usable. For those, I use predictive text, Sometimes, the word I was wanting shows up. Other times, at lest a word that contains the letter I need will appear in the menu and so I choose that and then backspace until I am left with only the letter I want. And then, the fact that the top left half of the screen doesn't work means that if someone sends me a text while I am in the app, but I do not catch it fast enough, I have to send them a text to be able to get theirs up on my screen so that I can read it and reply. I'm working it out though! Just know that if I reply slowly, that is why...but hey, the fact that I am replying when it is so 麻烦 {troublesome...only a much better word then that even} means you are important to me! ;)

The green in this screen below are my texts. Obviously, I talk way more then the other person! ;) {ALWAYS!!!}

Chocolate was helping me feel better today. Its pretty stupid and such a round robin thing, though. Part of why I felt so icky today is that I am feeling rather fat and falling behind in the whole health business once again, thanks to the set backs I have had with this latest back issue. {lets face it, pain keeps me from doing some things and fear keeps me from doing others...there isn't much left!} So here I am complaining about being fat, so that puts me in a bad mood and then this whole kindle fiasco has me in a not great mood and dreams I had last night caused me to wake up sad and worried and then there were some other small things, so everything bundled together made me want to...need to eat chocolate but that only makes the fat thing worse! ugh! haha!

When I woke up feeling the way I did, I knew exactly what I needed to wear today! Fake it till you make it, right? So I needed plenty or reminders of how I should be thinking and acting! These two, along with chocolate, good friends, and focusing on the right place, were lots of little things that made the day end much better then I felt it was when I woke up!

Chocolate is never a little thing....but it is always something for which  to be thankful!

Ready for my afternoon!
This was for the second half of my day in the office. {I don't have class on Fridays, it is just a work day.} By this time {1 pm} I had already downed 4 bottles of water. So far so good...lets hope I can keep it up! {I think I ended the day with 7 bottles of water, a bottle of coke, and a bottle of sports drink/sports water}

While I was sitting in the office working on something, I heard a knock on the door and my {Chinese} name being called out. I turned to see one of my teachers {My Comprehensive Reading teacher last semester} coming into the office holding a cherry tomato. She again said, "AnYaHui...." then placed it in my hands and said "吃吧“ {Eat} before she turned and left the room,closing the door and leaving me alone once again. I had just taken the last bite {it was far bigger then it seems! Took a couple bites!}when there was another knock on the door. One of the office teachers {We call them 老师, teacher, as well. They are the admins of our department} came in with a plate of cherry tomatoes and told me I should take one. I was giggling since I still had part of one in my mouth and had not been able to answer anything she said. She caught on and began to laugh with me, made me take one of the tomatoes and then she too left, closing the door behind her.
Two people came and found me to make sure that I had been fed!!
