SO OLD!

Today, my bai ji mo白吉馍 lady asked me if I had cut my hair!
That was my little thing for the day!
She knows me enough to not only remember me
but to also notice when my hair is shorter by a couple of inches! :)
#ItsTheLittleThings

I had a super busy day!
Didn't really get everything done that I had planned either!

We had a busy day at work
so I had plenty to do and didn't
get any homework done while there.
Not that I am all that great at doing it
when I HAVE the time!
I am far better at trying to get the
wifi to work well enough to let me on Facebook!
Plus, I had so much to do that I didn't get out of the office until
a little after 5!

Then I grabbed something to eat so I could
try to get some homework in before
it was time to go to a special meeting.
I got to talk to my Mum for a bit too.
Very needed! :) Thanks for listening to my rand Mum!
I know it probably sounded like I was super
heated and all, but I promise I was calm
and just stating facts! :)
Facts and annoyances! haha!!

After that, I went to a meeting at
my friends house.
I spent much longer there then I expected!
We started at 8....and I was worried I might not make it
back to my dorm before the door was locked!
That's how late I stayed over there.
{I did sit around a bit after and talk too}

At the beginning of class today,
my teacher showed to clips from a movie.
She started out by saying this movie was old.
A very VERY old movie.
”很老很老“
she said.
The movie?
Sound of Music.
The Lonely Goatheard and Do Re Mi
were the two scenes.
She asked if anyone had seen the movie before.
Of course, she and I were the only two
that had ever heard of it before.
{and yes, I could sing just about every word!}
She asked me when I first saw it and I said
that I had known of the movie since I was a very
little child, had seen it many times
and that it was my Grandmothers favourite movie.
She then talked about a VERY old {not quite as old as
Sound Of Music, she said, but still very old} Chinese movie
and as she spoke of it she wrote the year up on the board.
"This movie was made in 1975" she said.
"Way older than even me!"
hahahaha!!
I remember when I thought 1975 sounded
ancient too!
