The Stone Was Rolled Away!
The Tomb Was Empty!
It Is Empty Today!
In one of the debates I watched,
it was said that the sacrifice made wasn't all
that great if the one giving of Himself
knew that He would rise again three days later.
It was this persons opinion that even if there was
a great deal of pain and suffering endured in the process
it was not a great feat knowing that there was nothing 'permanent'
about it.
He even went so far as to say that he too could
be on a cross if he knew that he would come back.
Oh how little we know of the actual sacrifice that was made that day!
The pain and humiliation was not the
ultimate sacrifice!
I don't think that we, as humans, are ever fully going to
be able to comprehend while on earth, all that
actually happened that day!
But I can fully understand and comprehend,
Because of that day,
Because of what He did
Because He did not stay behind that rock
Because He IS my rock
Because He did not think it beneath Him to become human and hang on a tree
Because HE ROSE AGAIN
I can be free!
And not just me,
It was done for all.
He Has Risen!
And that is no
Little Thing!!
